It’s Friday! Today is an exciting day for us working folks because the weekend awaits us! I’m ready!
But…queue the music, serious Scherie here…I cannot get the thousands of Federal Government employees who are not getting paid or have limited paychecks remaining off my mind. As we watch all of this play out, what does it say to you?
I’m getting the message that we all need to be better prepared or simply ‘prepared’ for some of us.
Saving can be hard but can we afford to not save? How many paychecks could you miss before needing help, living on credit cards, being without?
If your work place was shutdown and you missed a paycheck, how long could you survive? What about an emergency event? A rainy day?
Let’s learn from this and prepare. Let’s not let things we cannot control shutdown our lives.
